Help me pick out what color Bongo to order.

hey everyone.

Well, it looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on a bongo. I'm really excited, but completely indecisive when it comes to the color choices. I was hoping for some suggestions.

I have somewhat narrowed the field down to these:

Desert Gold / Tort
Sapphire Black / Black Ice or Moonstone or White Ice
Graphite Pearl / Black Ice or White Ice
Teal Pearl / White Ice
Carbon Blue Pearl / White Ice

in the end I don't know... they are all beautiful. could I get some opinions?
 
I would love to see some good quality pics of the Teal Pearl, but I haven't been able to find any.
 
Teal pearl as well, there is a great pic of one from the open house. Mingus is right on about the color, super cool and nobody else seems to have one.
 
the teal is sounding pretty nice now....
i'll go through those pics and try to find it.

The statistically significant answer to the question "What's your favorite Bongo color?" turns out to be "Yes."

FWIW, I went Desert Gold w/tort, because it's a color that changes considerably depending on the light. Look at the pics on Basscentral, and you'll see what I mean. For that matter, look at the pic of Psychicpet in the thread. That bass is yellow...no, it's orange...no, it's gold...

If I ever get a second Bongo (fretless) it'll either be black/tort or carbon blue/abalone. Several days ago somebody posted pics of a Stingray in the latter color, and it was stunning:

BC would have been my first choice, but I wasn't in a position to buy before the cut-off date. Blue just doesn't do it for me with the Bongo.

Stealth Black w/White Ice PG would be cool, though.

Buy it! I'm on the hunt locally today for the same finish in a 4-string HH.
 
Spend the day in the picture thread. It will come to you really. All of the colors you are looking at rock so.... eliminate bassed on how you see yourself playing and loving your new bongo.
