Help with pickup wiring

I recently put a set of ebmm axis pups in my ax40 and love them, but last week the switch washer came a little loose so I tightened it, but in the process it pulled my bridge pickup red wire out of the pot, so I tried to reconnect it and got no sound, and I dont know what to do, the neck still works but the bridge i cant get working, im having a hard time stripping enough wire to solder to the pot , and there seems to be alot of solder on the pot contact, i find it strange because they were a breeze to install but when the red wire from bridge came loose i cant get it working again, even after I soldered the connection, i just dont know if I did a good enough job. I might have to bring it to a tech, i know the pickup works it was working fine, maybe its the switch? If any of this makes sense i could use some help, my favorite guitar is out of service.

Best bet would be to get a qualified tech to check it out.clean the connections and re solder and if that doesn't work, get a pro to check it out.

Yep, get somebody who's handy with a soldering iron to check it out. If you've broken the wire by pulling it, you can always cut it back and solder a longer piece of wire to it, etc.

Just to update I got it working myself, I rewired the original sterling switch and its perfect, now that I have the chrome switch out of the guitar im going to try to clean the excess solder of the contacts and try to rewire it, since i like the look of the real ebmm style switch, but I have my fave guitar back! YAY!
