Help With Serial Number

Hi there!
I just would like to know how to interpret the serial number on my John Petrucci model, white sparkle with matching headstock and JP inlay. The serial is G15968. What year does it correspond to?

There is no quick and easy way to find out the exact age of your EBMM without having someone at ErnieBall look up the serial number for you. I'm sure that later this coming week someone will check it for you...

My educated guess -
Late late 2001 - early/mid 2002.

I have a G15395 s/n dated June 15. 2001 which I how I took a rough guess
