I just won a clear PG for my SR4, BUT (D'oh!) Dazbootman only accepts personal cheque/cashiers cheque etc etc, no paypal/money transfer.

I'm in the UK, does anyone know if my Limey cheques will work over there? If not any suggestions as to how I get around this?

I know have should have checked first before you say it......
 
Try and have a US Forum member pay him and pay Forum member via Paypal. What I sometimes do is go to the bank and buy US Dollars and send in an envelope. Sure, you can't guarantee 100% of getting there but it saves stuffing around.

Hi Rod,

I have a mate in oz, and am going to be sending him a pair of peltor work tunes.I was wondering about payment as well.

I'm not in a hurry for the money,but would like to get it.If he sends me a check ,can I not just deposit it in my bank(U.S) and let it clear from there.?

Also what is the best method of getting it there,U.S Mail, UPS?

I suspect your bank will charge you some ugly fees to cash an international check. International checks cost AUD$15 to cash down here, but I'm not sure if that is the case in the US.

USPS is the best shipping option for small packages.

Thanks Mark. Checked with me bank ,and it is 15.00 U.S for international.

I just called my bank yesterday and they said that there would be a 15.00 charge to cash an international check.

Was funny because the Lady working at my bank is from Austrailia ,so I got to chat about the shipping as well. :D

I've been trying to find our what's going on by emailing Bryan. I had one response, but nothing since. Guess he's a busy guy.
