Any idea on when they're gonna be available in the US. I'll be lookin' to buy a rig around the start of June. Very interested in the MarkBass stuff with the word that has been thrown around on the bored.

Well, there is a guy named Peter Murray who is a manager of some sort for Markbass who is based out of Canada. He has already said over on Talkbass after NAMM, that they are setting up an agreement with GC. Originally he said product would be in stores March timeframe, but obviously that hasn't happened yet. This would seem to be what BP is alluding too.

I am definitely looking forward to getting my hands on a Little Mark II

It's not in the USA yet?!?!

It's fantastic, we have sold heaps of Little Mark heads, only a few more $$ htan a Hartke 3500, but the Mark wins HANDS DOWN in every aspect.

The cabs are amazing if you want somehting light, proberly don't sound as nice as an Eden or an AG but VERY nice for the price, and the fact I can carry the 4X10 round the shop in one hand!!

And the best thing is that CMC imports it, the same guys who bring in Musicman

Ugg....
THat's what I've been searching and searching for!! :D
Actually, not to be too much of an idiot but I'm leaning more towardsthe idea that what ever you play through can be a good amp. So you gotta ask yourself
1.what do I want my amp to do? ie.Big Stages, little coffee houses, effects, no effects
2.what do I want my amp to weigh?
3.(now don't laugh, this does matter)What do I want my amp to look like?? face it, if it's something you think looks like a p.o.s. you probably won't want to spend alot of time with it, tweaking or gigging SO get something that you also dig the look of.

but in saying all of that.............

the Mark Bass Little Mark II and their 4x10" is INSANE!

or, an Avalon U5 inot a Crown XLS power amp into an Eden XST210 (their only good cab IMHO)

or, Ampeg SVT4-Pro into their BXT series of cabinets (or a pair of 1x12"s):D

not very 'concise' but what the heck, there's so much to choose from out there!!

Thanks Pete. It's down to two then:

Markbass Little Mark + Std. 104HR

or

GK 700RB-II + Neo 410

Let the waiting commence.

Tom, I hate to throw another name in, but the Bergantino cabs are very worthy of a shot.

Dang it! Ok, there are five, I mean three (a little nod to the Python boys, such sweet lads):

Markbass Little Mark + Std. 104HR

or

GK 700RB-II + Neo 410

or

some sort of bitchin' head and a really swell Bergantino cab.

No more chiming in or I'll just get confused. Except you, Travis, you now have to tell me which head and which cab. And no, you didn't hate that at all. You loved every second of typing that in. And you especially loved clicking the submit button. :p

Well Tom, I went on a quest for the perfect cab(s) Saturday. Played EVERY single stinkin cab from EVERY single maker that I wanted to.

In the end, I was most wowed by the Bergs. Im very much loving the SVT still, so soon Ill be pushing the SVT to a Bergantino HT210S. Ill add another if need be down the road.

BUT, just for the record, I think a 1001RB-II or GK Fusion 550 (when theyre out) would be cool with the Berg cab of your liking.

Ooh! A Fusion with a Berg. Hmmmmm. Very inviting. Good call Travis.

Thanks for the pic Randy. I'm seriously itching for something other than this ampeg ba112 and that didn't help. :p

Lets see here. Berg HT210S, 55lbs (not bad), rated @ 500W (more than I'll probably ever need), Sens. of 100dB (again, more than I'll ever need) but rated only down to 45Hz. How'd the cab handle the Low B?
