Hey BP, Music Man Advertising

Sorry if the following has been brought up before but I've been thinkin'.....

We comment on the forums how great Music Man guitars are, and we wonder why more people aren't jumping on board to play these wonderful instruments. I could be wrong, but quite frankly, I don't think a lot of people are familiar with the brand. It got me thinking......I see a lot of advertising for Ernie Ball products, but in the magazines that I read I don't think I've ever seen advertising for Music Man. Is there a reason behind this observation.

Speaking of MM... ever make a decision that you later regret? I sold a 4x12 MM vintage cab last week... i'm so stupid... what was i thinking? Please forgive me BP...

This forum seems to be keeping the flame raging....we did not issue a press release for the two pu bases, 30th SR,20th Ltd's, and 20th Sils we just told you knuckleheads and the rest is history.

Hell NO!!!!!!!!!!!!6 months is bad enough. And I like the prices just the way they are. I thought advertising was free.

I thought there might have been a different reason other than not being able to keep up with demand, etc.

I'd be happy to relocate and join your workforce to help you get these guitars out quicker.

Yeah, I'd be hard pressed to turn an offer like that down. (BP, you need a guitar player with a PhD in physics on board?) It's great there is an EBMM dedicated player like Tristan on board to help spread the word to the masses. It's just a shame that the rest of us have to deal with the usual guitar store dickheads, which seem to me to be the same all over the world. They have no real knowledge of what they they are selling and have no real interest in customer service or satisfaction. No matter where I have lived, it's always been the same (with the exception of one store in Dublin but I don't know if that particular guy is still there 'cause it's been six years since I've been there).

There is a place in Sacramento that i deal with exclusively... they all know me by name and Skip (the owner) is really cool (BP... Don't you know Skip Maggoria?) . When my Grandpa passed away this past December Skip came to the service to show support for my family... and now that I think about it he (Skip) actually came to the Hospital within hours of my Pops being rushed there. Can u think of another owner like that? The only person that i could think of who would be this awesome would be first off my Papa, and then Big Papa!

Skips staff is totally knowledgable when it comes to gear. I went in last week looking for a particular item... and willing to throw down some cash... the guys pointed out several flaws in that item and pointed me in a totally different direction and saved me a lot of money... It's unfortunate that they don't stock EBMM's on a regular basis... but they are really great guys nontheless!
