I certainly wouldn't consider a SR5 in any flavor to be conservative.

Sure But what I meant is that I still don't feel ready for HS or HH experience, and actually getting a new (to me) SR5 because I basically want "THAT" SR5 tone. No less, no more.

Then, later, that'll probably be another story.

OK, the deal didn't finalize. The guy was interested in getting my mint F****r Am Dlx J 5 in a trade for his mint '05 LE SR5. Finally he gave no news anymore.

The funny thing, though, is that his '05 LE SR5 (ya know, the buttercream one) is still for sale so far (2 months after we started talking about the deal). And even at such a low price, it does not sell. Guess the guy must be "a bit" difficult to deal with.

But yes, I'll be back as soon as possible, and most probably very soon.

Good news, new deal coming... Found a buyer for my Fender, and a mint (unplayed) 2006 SR5 at the same price from another guy. Now waiting for the money from the Fender to send it to the SR5 seller... Can't wait !
