yo dude, i just got a call from ernie ball explaining the problems with my bass, and it seems one of the problems was that the conectors for the bastery were bent..however i belive this came about because i have trouble fitting batteries in the compartment, even durcel bateries, they just wont go in al the way and i cant close it, so i have to realy jam it in to get it down....

my point is...how can i avoid this in the future, i dont wanna send this thing back every few months when i change my baterie

any sugestions?

This is a pretty common problem. We have found that different batteries are of different sizes, even from the same company. What I would do is, every time you are going to change the battery, with the battery removed, pull out the holder by gently rocking it back and forth while pulling up. It will pop out, giving you access to the copper tabs. If they look flat bend them in so they make better contact with the battery. This should prevent any problems in the future.

Use Energizers. They're smaller. Although I think Duracells are better too.
