OK ... i FINALLY ordered my HH Sterling. Just paypalled the deposit to some guy that likes to be reffered to as "The Dude". His henchman, some guy that goes by "Jack", took the order :)

So here's the specs:
HH Sterling
Saphire Black
Moonstone PG
Rosewood board
and non-scary, i mean - non-matching, headstock

I can't beleive i just put myself in a position where i have 2 basses on order. LOL. So in a few months i'll have two 2 pup Sterlings :)

coincidentally .... this is my 2000th post :)

So, my current job - which ive been at for about 4 months, has been super chill and honestly ive just be slacking about. But now its time to "sack up" and kick ass ... so I'm justifying this order as a "last hoorah" cuz works gonna be kicking my ass for the next few months.

plus, i really like dem Sterlings man. They kick ass

i owe ya a special thanks bro. your pics at: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/showpost.php?p=116035&postcount=366 sold me on the color/pg combo.

picking a color was/is hard. EB has a lot of cool colors and picking what color to get honestly took over a week of browsing the web (and our pix thread).

LOL you're not one to talk dude. LOL at least i waited over 10 hours in between my last 2 bass purchases. ;)

How you liking the basses and bass playin in general?

Hah ... you got me there :p

Actually, I'm lovin' bass these days- I've put the guitar down for a bit until I make some headway here. Left hand is just like playing guitar (the low B is throwing me a bit on the Bongo), so I'm mostly working on getting my right fingers to fire smoothly. I'm so used to playing with a pick so this is the big challenge. Having a blast, really.

Bass is a really cool instument- I love how percussive you can be on it.

Next time I'm down yer gonna have to teach me some tricks.

Congrats Duckky!!!!

I'm waiting on a Buttercream SR5 dual pup myself. Man, this waiting is like expecting a child or somethin'. Good thing it doesn't take 9 months!
