Hi folks,

This is my first post on the forums. Looking forward to being here. Hopefully, I have posted a pic of my SUB4 correctly.

Couldn't live with the original 'plate.

Looking good Hutton, and welcome to the forum! I always thought if I bought a SUB I'd want to swap the pickguard out for something different, and yours looks "none more black"! I'm sure you'll get a lot more welcomes, once the rest of the planet wakes up and logs on.

Welcome to the fun! I love the black PG on that bass, especially with the black headstock. Great lookin' axe!

Thanks for the welcomes! I should say that my bass playing started when my son James won the SUB4 by being the top student last year on the diploma course at the Bass Institute in London. Ernie Ball are major sponsors and provided the bass. As James already has a Stingray 4 and 5 he thought his old man might like the SUB4. So I began playing bass after playing guitar for many years. I now hardly touch a guitar and just love the bass. Here's a pic of James playing his Stingray 5 at the Graduation last June.

Damn! I hope my son is as good to his dad when he gets to that age!

Welcome :)
