Hi all,

My name is Norman and I am a newbie to the forum but thought I had better give you a little introduction of myself. I am a professional bass player (have been for over 20 years) and live in the UK. Amongst my various collections of basses - I have 3 jazz, 3 precisons, Sadowsky Jazz bass, custom built 5 string fretted and 5 string fretless Jeff Finch basses, Aria Pro and very recently in fact only just received today a Stingray 4 string (natural) that I won on e-bay. I have been after one for a while now and managed to get a very good price on it. The serial number is E43072 and I think dates it to mid 2004?

My amplification is a Laney B2 (2x10) combo and matching 1x15 cabinet (that push out some 750w) and also some small Carlsboro bass amps for smaller gigs - although the latter are probably going to be retired fairly soon and I will be on the lookout for some adequate replacements.

I also play guitars and have a number of lovely guitars mostly US Hamer guitars amogst others but I suspect that you don't want to know about them!

However I do have some questions about the Stingray and will no doubt be posting in other threads.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Norman

Greetings, Norman.

We stand ready for your questions, although most of our responses will be out-and-out fabrications.

Hey NorMan!
Welcome Man. I think this is pretty cool and that you will like it too. However, you and I should probably not sit next to each other during meetings. It would just get confusing.

There's a joke in here somewhere... something about there being no "-man" in NorM? :D :D :D
