How are the SUB 1 guitars?

Just looking over the various EBMM models, The SUB 1 looks interesting, and reasonable. Does anyone have any comment(s) on this guitar?

Those who own them here have few or no complaints about them-they are quality instruments and a killer deal for a USA-made guitar. I'm sure someone who actually owns one will be along shortly...

I was playing a particularly resonant one at Long & McQuade the other day - H/H in some funky pale green color with a plain black pickguard - and it was all I could do not to take it home (of course, not having any money, taking it home would have involved tearing out the door and dashing for the car, and being twice the age of most of the employees of said guitar store, I deemed my chances of success as somewhat limited, particularly since everyone there knows me by sight anyway...) Anyway, all this just to say, I think some of them are very, very nice guitars

I have played SUB1 guitars on a few occasions. They are worth every penny.
Greatest guitar in that price range, period.

Although I have a Petrucci and a Morse Y2D, I might one day own a SUB1.. if I can figure out how to sneak it past my wife. Maybe I'll buy one for my son.. is 2 years old too young to start playing?

i love mine. best i've ever owned, hands down. i would say try it for yourself though, make sure its for you

I don't own one, but I've tried a few. They play well & sound great, especially for the price. Only complaint from me is the textured paint & the painted neck.
