How do I get one of these ?

Hey BP, Ever think of doing an Axis version of the double neck and then auctioning it off for the Casey Lee Ball Foundation? That would be very cool and I bet could raise quite a few bucks! Just have Dudley whip one up in his spare time :D

I like that "I think we have the backup body somewhere", l just hope you aren't resting your coffee on it, or it's used as a wedge to keep a door open.  :p :p :p :p

Yup.....this is a guy called Scott who has replicated absolutley every guitar Eddie has ever owned. he has 100s! He's met Ed and even loaned |Ed some of his replicas for concerts includeing the striped Makita Drill for Poundcake! He also sells Kramer Kits on Ebay under the name Customwoods!

Check out his site: http://www.vanhalenguitars.com/

yes scott has been around for awhile. he has even shown some of his replicas and ed was blown away about how close they resembled his. back to the guitar if i remeber right only 2 were made for ed a red and purple one. i know ed has some single fuitars that resemble the top side of that guitar. scott is the only person i have ever seen remake that guitar but i dont know if its true like hollow on top and solid on bottom. i would love to hear the story on how that was made or came about.

Yes......Eds original was.........the topic of this thread concerns the replica in the OEM post......

Thats the one! Apparently Eds broke at some point in history and he needed a replacement for some shows of the era.....

no during the balance tour Ed's was stolen and scott gave him his a makita 6012hd. i now for the album Ed used just a baritone guitar that looked just like his sig guitar. i have some pics of it. on tour he used the double neck. i wish we could get a story about it or some specs of it. another guitar that is kewl that ebmm made ed is the yin yang guitar.
