How long has it been since the Stingray 5 was introduced?

Not sure but my buddy brought his early '90s in today (still with the metal battery cover) and he's thrown a Nordstrand Alnico in it and an Aguilar OBP-3...........nuts, absolutely nuts. NOT BETTER just different, adjacent to, kiddie corner to a stock SR5, on a paralell plane,.........
