I saw a nice Axis with some very nice subtle but very "alive" (changing from every perspective) even flame neck, of my guitars I have birds and flames together but never seen this flame with the exception of a piture from an e-bay guitar (information gather from here).

Trying to get some information on this in the forum find that maybe not very common.

Also I read somewere (e-bay speach sale, so probably innacurate) that the translucent amber color is rare...

Can anybody help with this information? thanks!

I gravitate to the flamed necks... my Stingray 4, Morse and new Axis are all flamed maple. Here's a pic of the incoming Axis

If Musicman would offer this as an option, like the premium top, I'd buy more new Musicman guitars.
