Question How to remove volume pot cap on my EBMM JP?

my volume pot has gotten a bit loose, therefore I need to remove the plastic cap to tighten the pot itself. how does one remove the cap?

on most guitars pot caps have a hex screw to hold them in place, but there's no such thing on a JP volume cap

I believe if memory serves me right, you need to remove the rubber band around the knob and there is a set screw under there, loosen that and the know should come right off.

Glenn is right. Gently push the rubber ring down towards the guitar and you will find the hex screw. It is easy to tear the ring if you aren't careful.
