- hold your EB bass of choice in playing position
- hold two dimes together and slip them under the E string at 12th fret

Do the dimes stay in place without holding them or do they fall to the ground?

OK, I just ran some test here at my lab and discovered something strange.

In playing position they stay put.

Hanging on the wall the dimes fall out.
