I bought an Albert Lee HH and a Luke III this year.

And really fell in love with MM. I mean really. I couldn't see myself playing with anything else.

Then I saw a commercial for the PDN 2014 and ordered a AL SSS Trem on June 2nd.

When I contacted MM in september to know if my guitar was finished, I received an immediate and accurate answer stating that my guitar would leave the factory that very week. (second week of september)

October 28th...no news from my dealer, no news from my wholesaler...Guitar is supposed to be on a boat somewhere in the altlantic. Yes on a boat!!!!

2 months to come from California to Belgium... Am I beeing impatient or what?

We've talked before. Shoot me an email with the details of your situation and we'll see if we can look into it from out side.

yes you are being impatient, its tough, I have had 4 brand new MM guitars built to order and they all took around 6 months to arrive, the wait is terrible, but well worth it!!

I know, I'm a spoiled brat. I can't complain! But what drives me insane is not the "building time" but the shipping.
2 MONTHS... Is the factory on the MOON?

MM is absolutely not responsible for this of course!

I'll just keep waiting. Thanks for your honnest answer! :)

Nope, the factory is not on the moon, but on another continent and they ship the overseas orders in batches. They do not ship every single instrument on its own.

Cheers

just relish the anticipation.....:p

Totally agree… been waiting months now for my BFR PDN…. and I love every second of it… staring at pictures for hours of other PDN BFRs and wondering what my baby might look like and where she is now… Relish every second of it. :)

If only I could have found ONE picture of an AL PDN 2014 SSS trem white perloid pickguard, I wouldn't have transformed into such a jerk!
