Some of you may remember my post "Riddle Me This" about the Bongo I played at Guitar Center that sounded dead. Well, I read about how the Piezo works on Music Man basses... about the whole thing where if you turn the Piezo knob all the way up, you're using it by itself. That's the problem I had, right there... I was only using the Piezo! I'm a fool, I know. I went to Guitar Center and played it again today (with the Piezo DOWN), and it sounded quite good.

Can someone post the order the knobs go in on the Bongo dual humbucker w/piezo? EXAMPLE: first knob - volume, second knob - pickup blend, etc... This will help me out a lot, because I am a confused individual.

I was worried about Bovie doing a double-micky-you-beaut off the spring board....so I got in quick!

I remained calm throughout what might have seemed to some to be a potential tragedy.

There was no doubt in my mind that SOMETHING was off. These Bongos can make lots of different sounds, but "dead" is not one of them.

Speaking of...restrung the 4 banger with TI Powerbass. Wow. Highly recommended!
