2 days ago I payed off my brand new BONGO 5 with piezo HH in candy apple red. I am so happy wiht my purchase right now that I just had to get on here and tell you all that if you're thinking about getting a bongo ...just do it! It's been said before but you can get almost any sound out of this baby. I'll make sure to get some pics taken and then i'll post later. Now I just have to find a freak'n case that will fit this thing. I don't get how the most expensive bass ebmm makes has no hardshell case! If anyone can help please let me know.

I am jealous of your candy apple red finish, but I suppose I will have to learn to deal.

As far as cases go, I am sad to report that so far, only G&G makes one, available from Bass Central, I believe. I have one and it is not what you would call A Good Case. In fact, I detest it, but the freaking Bongo 5s are too long to fit in a gig bag or anything else that I can find, so....what's a boy to do?

Someday, SOMEONE AT ERNIE BALL (hi jon, hi derek, hi brian, hi scott, hi sterling, hi leo no wait he's dead) will hear our voices, all lonely and forlorn, and give us a case for our Bongos.

I hope. Now get to work. We need photos!
