It's 9.30pm here, and I'm barricaded in the factory with 1000 angry employees outside. They're a little upset because we fired one of their representatives. Looks like I'll be bunking down here for the night. No beer in the fridge, but plenty of biscuits. There are 7 of us stuck here.

Volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunami, and now employee riots! Sounds like the last place anyone would want to be. Keep your head down, Mark.. and conserve those biscuits.

It's 9:30 am here, I'm having some coffee and a bagel while perusing the forum....wait, you're having a bad night. I should write something bad.

I ran out of smokes, so I had to go all the way to the kitchen to grab some more. And in a minute, I have to roll the garbage cans out to the street.

Okay, no comparison...I've been barricaded in a couple of times in my life, angry people outside, etc etc, but the company I worked for always made sure I had automatic weapons.

Are they given to violence?

Stay away from windows and all that.

Jack

Timor is around 2000 miles from where I am in Jakarta, plus it's a different country, so I can't say I've met him :)

I was told once, there is no such thing as a fair fight. If push comes to shove, take as many of 'em out as you can. Boot to the groin, finger to the eye. That sort of stuff.

Crazy Mark. Hope everything turns out OK and be safe.

I'm not a small guy, but unless I have some of Jack's former tools of the trade on hand, I don't have big enough balls to take on 1000, even if most of them are 120lbs wringing wet. You saw what those Lilliputians did to Gulliver, right?

NO PORN?

Jeez, what kind of company do you work for?

JK, I know who you work for.

But still.

So it's getting late, nearly 10:30 pm in Jakarta....you think they'll get tired and go home to bed soon?

Night shift is due to turn up at 11.00pm, so that's another 500 bodies joining the masses.

Give 'em Hell buddy.

You saw what those Lilliputians did to Gulliver, right?

By the way - Gulliver did get to urinate all over their castle...

We just survived an attempt by the local Police Chief to guide us through the throng, but we beat a hasty retreat back to the bunker. Time to pull up a desk and get some shuteye.
