and a Bongo is on the way! After much thinking about the advice given me here and by Alvaro (thanks), I decided to pull the trigger on a Bongo 5 HH, graphite pearl, black pearl pickguard, rosewood fretboard with the piezo. I looked around and then found a great deal from Beaver Felton who is an all around great guy (thanks Beaver).
This will be my first bass and I look forward to learning many things along the way. Thanks again to the forum for the help. I've also got DVD's enroute from Laboriel, Patitucci, Wooten, Bailey, Graham, Pastorius, Soulful Productions, and Norm Stockton. Whew! My work is cut out for me
