I really need some answers

Hi everyone,I'm the proud owner of 1 sterling bass,my first one and I'd like change the tuners,knobs and bridge that are crome for black ones,my friend has an sterling and it has all the hardware in black and let me tell you that it looks owesome so I'd like to know if I could buy all original hardware from this site.my sterling serial number F-06169 and I'd olo like toknow when it was built thank you

It sounds like your friend has a Black Onyx Sterling... they are a special run.

you're rigth,it's my friend's sterling is one of those onyx ones,it's owesome.but I'd like to know if black hardware is avalible for other basses and olso when my beutifull bass was born please thank you guys

Black hardware is not available from Music Man.
It is possible that we could release another run of basses with black hadware but as before it would most likely be a special run.

i'd consult eb on this one, but swapping the hardware out may void that warranty if its still under warranty. i'd call and ask one of the great folks at eb before you take further action.
