.....But I used the funds wisely & got this instead:

This color looks even better in person.

Ben and I were once again gushing over Bongos today.

Bongos just rock.

That one you have there? It rocks.

I like Bongos.

I'm going to start an "I Like Bongos" thread.

Because I do.

Like Bongos, I mean.

I like yours!

After going through numerous basses through trades, selling, & purchasing I've come to the conclusion that Bongos are the only bass for me. So far...G&L, Fender, Warwick, Peavey, Lakland, & the other EBMM basses.....the Bongo does it for me.
Laying down the G for this one, I knew it was a sure thing....no gambling here. ;)

but it was a happy day for me...

I took it off of barkatozz's hands. Its my first EBMM instrument. It sounds really nice

This is my second post... great forum - I'm looking forward to many discussions

Mmm, bacon! Welcome!

Good for you, sir. A fair amount of wheelin' and dealin' goes on here, and some fine instruments find new homes. Congrats on your SR5.

Thanks for the welcome bovine.

I've got a lot to learn as far as getting the most from the instrument so don't be surprised if you see multiple questions from me. :o

Bombs away, I say, although you'll almost always get the same basic answer from me: "Turn the knobs until it sounds good, then stop turning the knobs."

:)

HA! Played last night through a borrowed rig. I turned knobs all night trying to make it sound good! Sheesh! What junk! Sorry for the rant, and Yes, I'm over it now...what were we talkin' about?:o
