I want to buy your Sterling

I'm in Sacramento. I found a guy in San Jose with a Sterling for $600. Can anyone here beat that?
Also, I have the serial number for the Sterling in San Jose, is there any way to look it up to check the year built?

It may be a good buy. About three months ago, I picked up a 1994 Sterling that literally still had the plastic on the pickguard, perfect string mutes, and all the case candy for $580.
