I wasn't able to play bass today

I mysteriously sliced my index finger this morning before work. I got home after a stressful day and was able to do no plucking. I couldn't grip a pick. Worse bass playing day ever! Hell its a pain in the ass to type and use a mouse right now, and I had to do an abnormally high amount of data entry at work.

In conclusion: Weee.

In '83 I saw the Police, and Sting had cut a finger on a bread knife at the hotel, so someone else played the bass (his tech I guess). So, you should probably get yourself a bass tech.

Pain, indeed. In '83 I saw the Police, and Sting had cut a finger on a bread knife at the hotel, so someone else played the bass (his tech I guess). So, you should probably get yourself a bass tech.

Sting actually cut his finger on a corkscrew while
opening a bottle of Opus for me. The least I could
do was sit in and play the bass for him that night.

I had the most bizarre dream last night. Actually, I had 3 weird dreams, but I'll tell y'all about 1 of them. I dreamed that I was peeling some dead skin from my left hand. One of the sheets of skin kept peeling & peeling & peeling. Before I knew it, I had completely removed all of the skin from my wrist to my palm!! I could actually see bone, tissue, & blood. I thought, "This is really bad!" Then I thought, "I'll never be able to play a musical instrument again!!" I went to the doctor, and the doctor simply pulled the rest of the skin from my hand. I then looked down to see my hand intact with a fresh, new layer of skin!

I promise I didn't drink anything before I went to bed......
