There's nothing illegal about that bass. And, they aren't "getting away" with anything.

Is the headstock the only IP? Pickguard and preamp shapes are not?

I remember signing something for wonderdog a few years back that was related to headstock only. To me, the pickguard and preamp are every bit as much definable as the headstock. But then what do I know....I'm just a lowly bass player.

The responsibility should be the actual manufacturer/seller, not the format for sales. What an enormous task it would be for any on-line retailer to have to "monitor" each item individually for those kind of things.

I'm with T-Bone. I see a Stingray when I look at it. I guess it's the same though as any J Bass clone.

and TNT...I think it is going to be a long year for our Raiders.
