I'm usually right on top of things and pretty sharp as a standard. However I can't believe this one.
Since discovering this great forum, I been extending my short knowledge on John Petrucci, Steve Morse and Steve Lukather's music.
I've been really getting off on listening to their music which in some ways is new to me.
I've was listening to Mr. Morse the other day and suddenly it hit me. I must say I was embarrased with myself but had to share this regardless.
I was listening to the song TUMENI NOTES, one of my favs. and was starring at the title when it hit me. "TOO MANY NOTES"!!!! All this time I thought Tumeni was a foreign word or something!
Very creative Mr. Morse! ;)

I asked Mr. Morse once if that was a reference to the movie Amadaus. That comment was made once about a piece of Mozart's music. ("It has to many notes") Turns out it was just a happy coincedence. The song Tumeni Notes is a perfect example to learn alternate picking. Once you get alternate picking down everything else is easy. DO IT

It's quite a song.
If I can play that before I die, then I'll be a happy man.
Then you can bury me with my guitar! ;)
