Just got back from a gig, and y'know...playing music with my best friends, having people dig it, grooving on how great my bass sounds and GETTING PAID for it...can it get any better?

Yes it can. The gig was at a farmer's market (no kidding) sponsored by a local liquor store (no kidding) and in addition to getting paid, they gave us wholesale prices at the store.

Man. Life is good. The Sam Adams I'm sipping is mighty sweet.

Thank you, BP, for helping to make such a fantastic experience possible!

Totally awesome. The only thing better than beer is free beer. Or in your case cheap beer, which is also mighty sweet.

Now if only you americans had good beer....:D

Good point, but Sam Adams is actually fairly decent. It took me a month of travelling around the US and forcing myself to drink Bud, Coors etc before I discovered that brew. Miller Draft isn't too bad as a thirst quencher provided it's served icy cold.

Glad you like Miller Genuine Draft - cold is good. Miller also makes, under contract, a high percentage of Sam Adams (Boston Beer) at our Eden North Carolina facility.

I just walked in from my gig. The Bongo 5H is all I could ask for. It sounded great. We had lots of dancers, lots of Petron, and a (small) wad of cash at the end of the night. Life is good.

Sounds like an awesome gig - I love it when it ALL comes together. :D

As for the nudist colony gig - I suspect you'll find most of them there folks'd be better off with clothes on... ;)

Isn't the idea of a nudist colony in Wisconsin an oxymoron? I mean, it's only warm enough to go nude like, what, 15 minutes a year? ;)

You may say that seriously, but when I was up there in July it was incredibly hot. Almost as bad as it usually is here.
