Knuckleheads,

I can't give anymore airtime to the man that won't go away. He has allegedly been banned from the Ampeg forum, Talk bass, and the Dude pit. He has been banned three times from here. Here is my solution:

Please ignore him. If whatever new identity that he creates, (remember he posed as a lady)......continue to participate in the thread that he posts in but do not respond in any way to him.

Some of you have been concerned that this man will drive me away. It ain't gonna happen....you are stuck with me.

He is very happy that he can create new identities.....We are in contact with federal, state and local authorities along with his isp to register our concerns about his hostile and harrassing activities. We may solicit you for support in this investigation.

Most people don't go someplace that they are not welcome, sadly this isn't the case here.

Some of you have shown support for The Banned Girl, and I have to tell you, whatever you told him/her in private certainly didn't stay that way. You've been used, if you ask me, but hey, it happens. Absolutely no hard feelings here and also believe that I didn't share with you the things he/she said about me or, for reasons I still don't understand (nor do I care to, really), my wife.

I just want this to be a fun and informative place to hang, and I do the best I can to keep it that way.

For those of you who have written to me, I thank you. I'm a weird sumbitch, but I promise I won't use your PMs to me in any way against you or to try to bolster my popularity, such as it is (or isn't).

I have an idea for a script for Codemonkey:

Write a script that accepts a user name, and then it iterates through all the OTHER users (except the user name passed to the script), and adds the target user name to their 'ignore' list.

When someone pops up again and their 'new' identity becomes known, they can be utterly ignored by everyone with just one function call.

Maybe add the user name to a sql table and when new users sign up, it can automatically add the users from the sql table to their ignore list as a default.

Whaddaya say? It's not like you're busy working on the instrument builder..
