Hi guys, as some of you know I was feeling the winds of change and sold my sterling to buy a Ric. But after hearing all of these horror stories of truss rod and bridge problems I have decided to go back to my first love. Im eventually gonna get either a HH sterling or an H S sterling. My current fund is at 800 bucks and If I find the right deal on a used one, will finish the rest off with the trusty credit card. If anyone know where a decent used one is for sale, please let me know.

(Hangs head in shame).... yes. I see the error of my ways and I WILL GET a double pickup sterling. I played the living H*** out of that sterling it was a good one. The guy I sold it too is really happy with it. Oh I never actually made it to Ric world, EB land is just to seductive.

I would, but with my first child coming in a couple of months I'm probably gonna have to just get a used one because I have a feeling there will be no more money going to the bass savings fund, and I doubt that I'll not be buying another bass for a looooooooonnng time. Besides I've owned 4 used MM basses, 2 sterlings, and 2 SR5's and they've all been top notch.

Mmmmmm that's gorgeous!

Glad to see you've come back to MM - I've never been able to fancy a Ric - I think they look funny..... nuff said :) I'll buy a Bongo before I buy a Ric! :D
