Guys,
While I'm happy with almost all aspects of my 2001 Stingray 5, there's one area where I'd like to see some improvement and the the single coil mode. What I'm lacking is high end clarity like what I'd typically get from a single coil PU. To me it seems like there's nothing above 4K and I don't know the reason behind that. Is it the phantom coil or is there any other reason behind it? Can I do anything about it including changing the PU for a Bart or a SD?
Any ideas, including official EB one, are welcome.
