so far, NAMM '07 in Anaheim is what we've heard
..but that is kinda close to the big Texas Toast EBMM party in Nov. ............. wondeer if it might make a brief appaerance in an 'unfinished' state???

well hear all about it when they get to their "happy place". i think last we all heard was that its in R&D and they're hella busy R-ing and D-ing all sorts of goodness - the Sterling 5's one of many goodies they're workin on.

What would be the practical difference between a Sterling 5 and StingRay 5 other than maybe not having the pickguard the same shape? I thought basically the difference between the Sterling and StingRay 4 was the neck shape, because isn't the three band pretty much the same?bassmonkeee said:

From what i remember BP already saying, the Sterling 5 is going to kinda be to the Sting Ray 5 like what the Sterling 4 is to a Sting Ray 4.
From that I would deduce that p/g shape, body shape/size, and neck shape would be different from a Sting Ray 5.
and that's about all I can figure( and about all that my butt can articulate
)
