Is there any JP in Australia?

I've searched many dealers of EB in Australia and I can not find any JP that may be larger than $1000 in price? Does anyone know how I can get one good JP from Australia? I'm in Melbourne.

Call Pat from CMC in Sydney, he's the importer and he'd be able to tell you who may have bought one in.

There was one on ebay a couple of weeks back for about $1800 if I remember correctly.

You may have more luck ordering one in Melbourne but I can tell you it's a lot harder here in Brisbane(for guitars Basses aren't a problem). Don't let the wait deter you, cause despite the lack of support the guitars are AWESOME!!!

I emailed that seller the last time he had that JP on ebay, the pics he sent me were awful, no way is he gonna get $3000AUS for it. You cant put up internet pics and get away with it.

its not that hard really
if youve got the cash
get onto a dealer
see who will give you the lowest price
theyll place the order
a few months later you have your new guitar

i was lucky
for some reason there was a fully loaded mystic jp6 in the cmc warehouse
here for a trade show that was coming up in 2 weeks
it never made it to that trade show
5 days after i made first contact with the dealer (better music in canberra BEST music shop in australia)
it was in my hands

Hi badguitarist. I'm also from Melbourne and I have one of the original 50 handsigned by JP. The colour is Mystic Dream and is fully loaded. Guitar is mint as it was bought as a collector item. Let me know if you are interested. Otherwise try Billy Hydes in Flemington. They stock Music Man and usually do a good deal.

Billy Hydes hardly have any EB, i go there regurlary and they've only had a Benji or a Silo Special, at the best of times. The guys there know stuff all about the EB guitars too.
