I lowered the action just a bit on my Pet, but the saddles does not line up exactly the way they were when I initially got it. They are just a hair off. There is just the very SLIGHTEST string buzz, (but I guess with any guitar with low action, there may be a tad bit sometimes), and as I said, it doesn't line up exactly the way it was I don't think. Will this screw anything up? Do I need to get the factory specs and just raise it again? Also, does anyone know what the factory specs are for ordering a Pet with the "low" action option? I'm not sure if I'm going to have to take it to someone to make sure it is set-up properly or it's fine the way it is. Like I said, there is virtually no string buzz at all, so I'm assuming it's just fine.

First off, what do you mean by lining up? If you mean vertically then that's fine cause the saddles should follow the radius of the fretboard. Best way is to get a ruler with 1/32" increments and make sure the ZERO is right at the end of the ruler. Then simply place the ruler on the 12th fret (+ the 13th to rest it level) and measure the action for each individual string.

So just make sure all of the strings are 1/32"? That should be easy enough. Thanks a lot Raz. I appreciate the info. :)
 
Sure, I had my JP7 down to 1/32". The only downside was it requ7ired some attention to keep it that low, weather changes come and go so a tweak here and there was always necessary. Now I keep it at 1/16", and I am more than happy, but then again I've changed to a set of optimum string gauges 8.5 to 59's!
