is this normal??

alright on my new Petrucci
there seems to be a lot of little white ( i dont really want to call them digs but that's what they look like ) on the fretboard

is this normal?? and if not how do i get rid of em?

i think when they buff the frets on a buffing wheel......some rubbing compound gets into the grain of the fingerboards.....

ya.. that's possible

When we buff the frets we mask off the fretboard
with tape and any left over compound turns black when dry. It is possible that some wax particles got in the pours of the rosewood which turns white when dry. If it is a problem please consult our customer service department and they can give some instruction on how to clean.
