I bonded with my SR5.

Last night at practice, I felt like the 'Ray was mine for the first time since I got it. I wasn't thinking about the way the neck felt or where my right hand was. I just played the songs , and it felt just right, and natural. Some basses take longer than others.

Congrats! Nice feeling, huh? :D

Yeah, really nice feeling. I liked it as soon as i picked it up for the first time, or else I wouldn't have bought it, and I loved the tone from the start... but now, it is really part of me.

I totally regret ever selling my natural (beautiful grain one-piece body) SR5 last year. I wish I still had it. I too had that "bond" that particular bass.
