I have been sitting in the Columbus International Airport since Noon, initially trying to get on a 1:40PM flight (overbooked), then a 5:05PM flight (delayed) - now hoping to be on a plane by 9:00PM...

Been away from home since Tuesday - missing my wife, kids, and of course, my Sterling & Bongo!


Thank God they have free wireless internet throughout the terminal and I can hang here with my fellow EBMM bretheren!

Wife is waiting up for me... Got activities planned with the kids all day tomorow...

How bad are the Airlines these days?

Whew - got in my house at 2AM... So much for making it in time for dinner!

In terms of plans:

- My wife was still waiting up for me!

- I had a great day today with the kids!

and...

- In 15 minutes I am off to band practice!

Except for a wee lack of sleep, all's going well and according to plan...


Can't blame the airline on this one... Severe thunder/lightning storms stopped flights from coming into or out of Newark Airport for a spell and got everythig all backed-up. I've been lucky this year - I was over-due foe a delay...
