Someone told me that new production models have rock maple necks? Please tell me it isnt so.
Ive been out of the loop for awhile, is it true that axis's no longer have birdseye?

Not to my knowledge. It is true however of the Silhouette, Cutlass, Stingray and the Reflex/Gamechanger.

Cause i saw a bfr axis new at GC and the neck was as plain as day. Not a speckle or flame of any kind.

I've seen every model with a plain neck at some point. BFRs are no exception.

Same here. Seen lots of models with plain looking necks, have had some too. I was under the impression, it's the luck of the draw. Some necks are really beautiful and others are just regular maple.

the search is your friend. Its wood. We dont charge a premium for it. Roasted necks always are figured.
