I had the drummer's wife take some pics of us last night...man this is fun!

yep, that's a drummer all right... why do they all look like escapees from the museum of natural history's ice age exhibit? * ;)

Didn't you say your jam-space was hot? You might want to think about getting rid of the lights if that's the case... pulling the lighting and installing a couple of pedestal fans really helped in our space...

We built our latest rehersal space (the one we've been using the last six or seven years) in the basement of the other guitarist's 150 year old farmhouse... The hard part was digging out the floor... or maybe excavating down to the bottom of the fieldstone foundation to lay the weeping tile... Anyway, it stays pretty cool in the high heat of summer, and the raised floor we put in means we can hide a lot of the cables... and acres of land between us and the nearest neighbours was supposed to mean we could play as loud as we want without attracting attention - although in the summer we usually find half the surrounding residents have arrived and started a patio party around the pool when we come up for air or B-B-Q :D

* just kidding guys - I love the freedom a good drummer gives me when I'm playing...

Brent,

That looks like a fun jam! I must admit that I'm tempted to photoshop a little drool coming from the drummer's mouth, though.... ;) :D :D

Wow, that looks like a substantial PA for a rehearsal room!

I bet you guys are plenty loud!

Might as well put up a few gay porn posters on the wall too. :D

Maybe on the ceiling?

When I was a teenager, at the barbershop I used to get my haircut, the barber had a picture of a huge naked woman walking down the supermarket aisle with a shopping cart filled only with bags and bags of potato chips.

You could only see it when he put the chair back to shampoo your hair.

I always looked forward to seeing that.

The caption was NEVER FOOD SHOP WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY.

Well it looks like you're having fun indeed :) Nice guitar btw!

thanks dude!

Looks like you are having a killer time, I wish l could find a group of musos to jam with, but there rae too many "Rockstars" who have watched too much Americian/Australian Idol.

l agree with the comment about drummer "escapees from the museum of natural history's ice age exhibit", the last couple of drummers l've jammed with in bands have been like that.

Scott.
