here is an Interview with John Petrucci on Australia's biggest Commercial radio station Triple MMM,
the Dj higgo asked me for a heap of questions, so i asked him about a whole heap of Guitar nerdy stuff including The Majesty Guitar!!

He seemed to think think that a 9 string guitar was just absolute rubbish so I'd be surprised to learn that this is what the main feature of the Majesty is going to be. I really hope it has a Majesty logo somewhere on the body like perhaps on the 12th fret. I think that would be epic as hell.

On the left is the Axis used on the album, and on the right is the JP13 with the floyd rose. John also mentions the roasted maple neck too in the interview. That roasted maple neck on the JP, is just amazing!

The shields on the roasted neck look awesome. Nice to see a Floyd Rose on there.
