Hi to all. Just registered with the forum though I've been a EBMM fan for years. Just got my BFR Luke (Ruby burst flame) about a month ago and it is incredible! Playin it through a 70's MM HD-130. Anyway, I'm a huge Johnny Hiland fan and wondered if anyone knew about any talk of a signature Silo (or any other). If not, maybe some other fans could comment on this thread and get BP thinkin about it....:)

From everything that's been posted here, Johnny is really happy playing the Silo. Can't speak for EBMM or BP, about a JH model.

Gonna see Johnny next week down @ Dubaldo's in Conn. Can't wait, it'll be my first time.

Hey, u talkin to me? NY
It is not a signature deal or guitar...he is here because he loves the silhouette

Johnny Did play several models, including the Axis, the 25th anniv. and the Silo, as soon as he picked up the Silo it was over. He literally stayed up all night and played it until he fell asleep with it still strapped on his body. Johnny loves the silo and it will be used on the new record this year. Hope that answers your question. Best regards, Bear

I have no doubt that Johnny is with EBMM because he loves to play their stuff. From everything I've read and heard, he also has a great respect for the company and it's people as well. My question about the signature was simply that I know players like to tweak things to suit them even better than they do stock. I'm a big fan of the Silo HSH setup and tone, but I'd like a little different neck. I didn't buy a Luke because it was a Luke. I bought it because I loved the way it played and sounded. And, I bought a BFR because it sounded and played even better (my opinion).. I'm just saying that a Hiland Silo, I would imagine, would be killer fast and toned out to do anything....

Johnny Hiland Signature :) At least BP did not use the words "Never" or

"Ever" I would love to see and own a JH Signature guitar. Johnny is a top

player and inspiring.

Yea.. I caught that. "no plans". :) Well plans sometimes change, hopefully, and if enough folks show intrest in it, maybe it'll happen.

I think the only folks interested in it that are going to make it happen are Johnny and BP. There is always something cool brewing at EBMM nonetheless.
