My new year resolution:
Write and record another CD.

I have plenty (plenty=more than you but still not enough) of EBMM guitars but no basses. I have the Silhouette Bass Guitar which I am looking forward to featuring but still no bass.

So I eBay'ed something to finance this bad boy and it sold for the Buy it Now price in 16 hours. ($200 more than I paid for it 6 years ago). When I went to Guitar Center to get a box to ship it in the helpful clerk asked, "Will there be anything else?"
"Yes" I replied, "I would like to try out a Bongo 5 Please."
He got the ladder (safety first) and pulled down an Egyptian Smoke. I played it for 10 seconds and thought, It needs a little work.
Then the helpful clerk stated, "I think there is another one on layaway, I'll go get it." 2 minutes later he came back with a Desert Gold White Ice HH Bongo 5 and said. "This one is on clearance $make my jaw drop and throw my visa at him.
One of the cool people on the guitar side got a DG WI silo and I have just loved the combo ever since I saw it. It is the combo I was going to get and now I have it.
I have it today.
I got it for a great price.
I got it at my local GC.
And that's just nice.
I got a case and a set of strings.
Just so many really cool things.

uh... I don't have one "yet" !!! that GAS is getting pretty severe (stealth bongo 5). but alas, I must quel my urges because we are on the verge of buying a new vehicle GRRRRR ..

maybe in the middle of the year, who knows.

NorM, while I am very excited about one more Bongoloid, I am concerned about your bass/guitar ratio. I think that to maintain the delicate balance of the cosmos, you need to sell about 4 more guitars and get yourself 4 new basses, preferrably more Bongos.
