after tasting the fruits of the JP13 with illuminators, boost, 15" radius and more... I just couldn't settle back into the JP6 anymore. Is this progress? or voodoo?

The boost is quite awesome. Brilliant even. I do find it missing when I play my JP6 guitars.

jp13 has a 17" radius, jp6 has 15"

I enjoy them both!! fantastic guitars!

The JP13 is magical. I only like my JP15 better because of the neck and aesthetics; but otherwise, the JP13 is everything I could ever want in an electric guitar. It's just a little boring visually, is all. But man - it feels wonderful and sounds monstrous!

Yeah the JP13 spec-wise is an evolution compared to the previous anniversaries, but it looks too shinny, if I had one I probably would not take to my classes, or rehearsals because it makes that "wow" effect, people asking how much you paid, etc...I live outside of the US so it's a rare axe and the aesthetics makes doesn't make it look like a workhorse guitar, more of a collectors piece.

If I had a band, I would not gig with it either for security reasons, it would make too much attention and could result in a theft.

yup, not even the same guitar as a JP6. However, I do say that the silver under stage lights is pretty cool.

exactly how I feel about 13 vs. 15.

Yeah... just remember to change your batteries.
The fact the JP13 (and newer models) only work with batteries annoys me immensely.
