Just bought The P-man's Silhouette Special !!

He kindly took it off eBay for me and it arrived today

First impressions are good, nice neck, nice weight and well balanced, great strat sounds and a really biting humbucker.
The pickups have been replaced with two Rio Grande 'tall boy's' and a Muy Grande humbucker. Fantastic sounds and a nice alternative to my PRS Custom 22 although the neck pickup sounds extremely noisey.
Will string it up with 10's soon to give it an even fuller sound and give the truss rod a tweak too.
Treated it to a DiMarzio cliplock strap already, next treat will be a pearloid scratchplate which I think will look cool against the Autumn Red Sparkle.
Anyone know where I can get one ?

email paul at chandler guitars, they make the EB guards and should have no trouble cutting you a custom piece. I'm probably going to do that with the Silo when I get it to rid myself of the middle position.
