I read in a few places that EB/MM uses 250k pots for the volume control. I like the sound of my Silo, but was just curious because the most common configurations use 500k for humbuckers, and 250k for single coils, to roll off the high end. I have a few 500k pots lying around, and was thinking of popping one in, since the vol. pot on mine is a bit worn.
Does anybody know the reasoning behind this?
And, would anybody recommend NOT swapping toi a 500.
