HEY GUYS, I JUST PICKED UP A STINGRAY....SERIAL IS B04420 ....WHITE, 2 BAND EQ....BORN ON 11/04/96...APPARENTLY ITS A PRETTY RARE 'RAY....WHITE ON WHITE STINGRAY ...I WANT TO CHANGE THE PICKGUARD...IM THINKING MINT GREEN, TORT, OR BLACK....TIME TO VOTE!!!

Well Jon, According To Gav's Database....it Shows That There Are Not Many Of The B + 5 Digits Serial Numbers....he Claims That They Are Somewhat Rare...can You Maybe Give Me Some History Behind It...

Gavs datbase is info that is sent to him, and would not reflect how many of these bases were made, only how many people who own them send their info to him. It is not a rare bass.

To clear up the "rare" question somewhat, I think - a white on white Stingray with rosewood board is not rare by any means.

An Ernie Ball-era Stingray with a "B" prefix is seldom seen.
