Ok, so GAS for a SR5 is slowly setting in, and since I really like colours easily seen on stage (and preferrably unusual too) I of course tried to talk jack into selling Heinz. Not only did he decline my offer, but informed me that if he was ever selling Heinz Tkarter had first dibs anyway.
So then I started toying around with the builder, and found that a Trans Orange/moto SR5 looks good, especially when paired with a maple fret board. Ok, I can live with maple.
At this point I am pretty satisfied, and I start thinking about financing the bass. I have already decided I'll get a new one ordered, which means I will finally buy a bass in Sweden.
But then I find that the exact colour combo I have settled on is the new favourite colour at bass central, which means that when i order mine there will be a lot of them already out there.
Agony, and the only good aspect of this is that I currently don't have the money for a new R5, and hopefully people will have tired of the colour when I get to order it. Either that, or EBMM releases a solid bright yellow colour...
