Well after chatting to many people on this board, Jeff and Beth at EB to take care of my string buzzing ****ty store set up. I took my Silhouette special to the "top gun" of luthiers up here in Montreal. He has told me so far ( today) that the frets are not even. That the #5 and 6 frets are "bumbpy" and the frets need to be "equalised" along with a good set up and going to 10/46 strings as the truss rod has major play in it and not enough torke from the strings. This makes perfect sense and would explain a lot of things. Anyway, I was told that most of the major professionnal musicians in the province go to him, and from what i saw at the shop I feel very confident about this guy.
Now if a guitar that was bought 3 months ago should cost me $140.00 to set right........we will see...
