Nice. :D

How heavy was it???

That mahogany was pretty and not as heavy as I thought it would be - in fact, it seemed to be within regular EBMM weight standards.

Thanks, Dave! This one will never show up on eBay!

That pic doesn't do the mahogany justice, Dudley came up with a killer piece there! I'll try and get a close up of the neck later...

Anybody else thinks that Jack should tort that motha??!??!?! eh? eh? :p

Naw, That's a Cool Custom Bass, me Personly, I'd leave that 1 exactly the way it was Presented to Jack. To Have Big Poppa do something like that, That's one Incredible Hornor. It just goes too show everyone where Big Poppas Heart it.

Pretty Beautiful Instrument Jack.

Dave, they're just yanking my chain because one of my favorite sayings is, "When in doubt, tort that biotch!"

There will be no mods to that bass. No one will ever be allowed to touch it or even look at it unless it's behind plexiglass.

Nah, you better believe that I'm going to play it. And you're all welcome to play it, too, when and if you're in Dallas. Seriously.

Jack

Nigel Tufnel: Look... still has the old tag on, never even played it.

Marty DiBergi: [points his finger] You've never played...?

Nigel Tufnel: Don't touch it!

Marty DiBergi: We'll I wasn't going to touch it, I was just pointing at it.

Nigel Tufnel: Well... don't point! It can't be played.

Marty DiBergi: Don't point, okay. Can I look at it?

Nigel Tufnel: No. no. That's it, you've seen enough of that one.

Y'know, as tasty and gorgeous as that is, to be perfectly honest I kind of prefer non-woody-looking Bongos. It's just too futuristic. I mean, we've seen SO MANY quilted-flamed-spalted-crotch-birdseye basses already.

Frankly, I really prefer the finishes that show off the Bongo's SHAPE, rather than the wood.

'cause I have this fetish thing about bathroom fixtures....

STRIKE THAT! I DIDN'T SAY THAT! THAT WAS MY EVIL TWIN! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Before anyone flames me AGAIN, please be aware that I BOUGHT ONE and I LOVE da Bongo!

I didn't think a Bongo would look that great in a trans color... but that Mahogany mutha made a believer out of me!

It was the most beautiful bass I've ever seen in my life, hands down. The color and finish are the perfect compliment for that wood.

No photo will ever do it justice, but it was another work of art from EBMM.

+1 IMO that is the most beautiful instrument we have built so far.
